XRP and SHIB whales are causing a stir in the crypto market as they make significant purchases of these tokens. These transactions have sparked speculation about potential price movements in these assets.
According to Whale Alerts, there have been a series of large transactions involving trillions of SHIB being moved between wallets. On August 21st, an investor and holder of wallet 0xc684d6c5 purchased 4,653,778,173,637 SHIB worth $36,797,424 from a Bitvavo sender. Shortly after, wallet 0xc684d6c5 sent around 4,639,778,173,637 SHIB valued at $36,696,005 to wallet 0x3442cc07.
In the most recent transaction, wallet 0x3442cc07 transferred 4,627,778,173,637 SHIB to another wallet, 0xa9d152f9, today. This amount of SHIB is currently worth $36,601,097. Although these wallets appear to be connected, the identity of the investor(s) behind these transactions remains a mystery.
Data analysis also indicates that XRP whales are following a similar pattern with significant transactions. Around 221 wallets have recently accumulated 16 billion XRP, and there has been a notable increase in the number of wallets holding more than 100 million XRP.
Analysts believe that these recent transactions may be a sign of investors preparing for potential price movements. The possibility of the SEC shifting its stance in the lawsuit against Ripple could drive the price of XRP to over $0.6 in the coming days.
The same applies to SHIB, as analysis suggests that it may have reached its local bottom, increasing the likelihood of gains for the currency. Analyst Michael van de Poppe recently predicted that SHIB could reach $0.000013 in the upcoming weeks.
These significant purchases by XRP and SHIB whales have captured the attention of the crypto community. Investors are eagerly watching for any signs of price movements in these assets. As the market continues to evolve, it remains to be seen how these transactions will impact the overall crypto landscape.
